In today's vlog Disney invited us out to Disney Springs the day before it opened to the public to show you what you can expect when you visit. We experienced limited parking, temperature checks, mask wearing, saw signage and ground markings for maintaining physical distancing, the increased sanitation and hand washing stations and more. We hope this video will help you when planning your next trip to Disney Springs. Thank you for watching!

      are the resorts open?

    2. veryberry39

As a non-native Floridian who was outside yesterday in blazing sunlight (not at Disney, but still in central FL)... I was sweating like crazy under that mask. Even ignoring my personal beliefs on this whole thing, there's no way I'd decide to go trucking around such a large area with something covering over half my face.

    3. Scream Screen Studios

To be honest I think this whole social distancing is ridiculous and NO ONE will listen and I dont blame them.

    4. endofsociety

I refuse to go anywhere that requires face masks. Face masks are stupid especially for this thing. May as well wear face masks every flu season being the seasonal flu is more dangerous. Bloomberg just reported that in Italy, 96% of virus deaths were due to other ailments their very old population already had. So, they were sick to begin with and this put them over the edge. Conclusion: the virus wasn’t the culprit, their health was and shouldn’t have been listed as covid19 deaths.

    5. Katie Noname

So much love and respect for Disney. I agree with lots of other commenters that this seems like it will be stressful and definitely not the same but they’re doing what right and responsible for everyone involved and still working so hard to give us some magic during this time. Loved the dancing cast members! They definitely made me teary!!

    6. L Ann

It is so fun to see you back at Disney!!!

    7. Brian English

So it's kinda like going to prison? Hard pass.

    8. Michael Hamilton

How do people here in Florida not know what wearing a mask in “the Florida heat” is like? I’ve worn one for years working in my yard. Never had an issue with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    20. Kennedy C

Watching these videos to try and mentally and emotionally prepare myself for going back to Disney during this apocalypse. Thanks for explaining everything so well, it takes a way a lot of my anxiety

    21. cookieman768

Glad I went to Disney last spring.

      1. vbddfy euuyt

Thanks for making ur videos they are amazing 😉

    22. Michael Hughes

Me my family have been to to Orlando 6 times Disney it want feel the same

    23. Cisco Duncan

Thank you for the video and information. Be careful and stay healthy. 👍🏾✌🏾

    24. Jess White

      This is so boring

    25. Marchking45

To be honest I live in Florida and honestly wearing a mask isn’t bad, your mouth sweats a little but if you’re not doing anything that’s physically demanding( I.e. exercising) then you feel perfectly fine, and to add I live in South Florida!!!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ It’s really nothing to stress over.

    26. Joe Pacheco

Thanks for the update Tim. I’m just happy to see you back on the beat! It looks like a lot of precautions are being taken which is good, but I’m in no rush to go back ASAP.

    27. Libra2go

Besides Disney, do you happen to know which Orlando area employers cover the cost of IVF?

    28. Mark Ryan

Too much work just to go to a theme park. I love Disneyland but it will not be the same with everyone wearing masks. Kids will not keep masks on and those masks will end up on the water, rides and on the ground. Do they plan on kicking out EVERY family that has a small child that won’t wear a mask all day and takes it off? I’m not going to spend money on a watered down Disneyland experience.

    29. LordzBacon

      * Cover mouth when sneezing/coughing. How do I do this...if wearing a mask which already does this? Pointless. The mask requirement is a truthfully, okie Idea but it needs to be adjusted. For florida weather. I noticed, big groups of families. There is no room for them on those "stand here" Has anyone been to Disney around vacation times? Small group is roughly...5. They need to make these distance ideas fun for kids to fully understand and follow. Pic of mickey and friends. Final, Drinks/straws. Does that count as food? or do you still have to keep the mask on and just slip the straw under the mask. You will see people with water bottles/straw usage and being so hot. A lot of them drinking.

    30. Brynna Meade

We were set to go in April and are now rescheduled to go in September. Any age requirements for face coverings? I don’t think my just turned 3 year old could wear a mask...

    31. yasio bolo

      This is amazing

    32. Kimberly Equestrian

Apparently they are saying it helps to keep shop windows and doors open to allow for airflow so the virus isn’t confined into an area. Idk how effective that is but just something I heard😁

    33. Michael Hamilton

disney will not be so popular anymore

      1. yasio bolo

Love the ad for the Mickey Monthly box, first ad I watched all the way through.♥️

    34. Marcus Fernandes

      It looks and sounds horrible.

    35. emberxashes

My concern would be enforcement in disney springs and in the future, in the parks. We all know people think they arent required to follow rules and regulations and Im hoping there are disney embassadors that will be enforcing the policies. Great video by the way! Thanks for the info.

    36. sheppfun

It doesn’t seem like this is gonna work.Sadly. Thanks

    37. Robert Cheatle

Thanks for making ur videos they are amazing 😉

    38. Allison Wise

I will not be going there anytime soon with all of that direction and mask-wearing. It looks like no fun at all.

    39. James Fraley

How is one supposed to eat with a mask on? Also. just imagine wearing one in the sweltering summer heat. I really hope both Disney and Universal can stay operational, and hopefully we will have a vaccine in the near future. But until then, this really seems just a sad joke with no good solutions for what is supposed to be stress-relieving vacation for many.

    40. Chris Hutchings

      This is soooo cringy..

    41. Jessica Melvin

      very informative thank you!

    42. soiung toiue

we will not be going back yet, I know we would do things wrong with being so distracted by all the Disney magic. Thanks for this video, stay safe.

    43. Damian Torres

this doesnt make sense, i thought they were reopening disney springs in may 25

    44. EvadingCreation

Hey Tim, any word on how they are enforcing mask wearing? I'm scared of people wearing them in and then taking them off once inside. I see so many people hanging masks around their neck.

      1. soiung toiue

a group of kids come in your store even with a parent you heart sinks.

    45. danielle Pavone

      Welcome to communist America.

    46. celia martin

Yes Tim, you had a surgical mask on, I wear an N95 and they are a little less comfortable in the heat. We are just starting to heat up here in Tennessee and the mask wearing has become less comfortable. I’m heading out to Phoenix next month, not looking forward to that.

    47. celia martin

We never liked the crowds so we always got our order to go at the Polite Pig, love their food, also the Chicken Guy is great.

    48. celia martin

Well Duh, you should not be out and about if someone has a temp.

    49. celia martin

Love the ad for the Mickey Monthly box, first ad I watched all the way through.♥️

    50. Brandon Mullin

Great update! Looks very subdued for now there. The cast member girl on the left starting at 4:54 looks really fun!

    51. Vince & Cynthia

We went there yesterday it wasn’t as crowded as usual but we still had a great time we vlog our time there also.

    52. joe Cas

Good morning hope all is well. Do you have any idea when will universal studios will reopen

    53. Scarlett Johnson

If you live down the street, maybe this is ok for some...no way I’m paying $$$ for this very non magical Disney. Can’t even imagine how awful it will be in the parks. Can’t wait to see the videos real visitors who aren’t paid Disney cheerleaders post...I have a family of 8, we go on a one week Disney trip every year, we always stay on property...I’m cancelling our 8 day stay at the new Disney Riveria Resort and our 2021 Disney Cruise. These restrictions will make the trips unbearable and not worth the $$$. Thanks for posting this video, and thanks to Disney for being very open and honest about the new restrictions...those of us who have to travel far and save all year for trips appreciate your honest assessments. I think it is clear that anyone who has to travel to Orlando should sit tight and wait...there really isn’t the capacity to have a good experience. Unfortunately, Disney is no longer a place to take young children. It’s really for locals above the age of 10. Though my 10 year old and Pre teen and teen kids told me if they have to wear a mask in the heat, they would stay at the pool. So we are just going to the beach this year. Maybe next next year. I’ll miss Disney.

    54. GAM CAMECM

DEFINITELY NOT going untill Face coverings OPTIONAL! Basically a healthy person stays healthy by keeping hands WASHED and AWAY from your FACE. What happens while wearing a mask or face covering at ANY time not to mention in the heat? Your TOUCHING your FACE MORE while ADJUSTING the covering on your face. ANY covering on your face is not NORMAL. Puts added STRESS on your body(FACT) This will just CREATE MORE ill people. WEALTH OVER HEALTH it seems!!

    55. Hannah Brayford

watching this video makes me so sad :( i hope its not too long before everything is back to normal and people can enjoy these places without all of these worries :(((

    56. Kayla g

Disney should permanently keep the hand washing stations it encourages good hygiene

    57. Lizzy .-.

i live in the west right next to Six Flags Magic Mountain. from what i’ve heard, it’s not gonna open till there is a vaccine available which could take 12-18 months. i can’t believe i’m gonna have to wait for so long. it makes me genuinely angry lmao

    58. Lori Hanson

      Great information! Thank you!

    59. TheSlacky775

I have been to Disney and Universal quiet a few times and i honestly dont see these measures working , the amount of kids i have seen just running around like sugar hyped lunatics, and then there are the parents who just dont care. AND I also dont see this working when they just start to open up normal shopping malls i have worked retail you see a group of kids come in your store even with a parent you heart sinks.

    60. miles34744

Lies! I was there today and did not see anyone clean any handrails or other surface areas. Go to cirywalk where I saw many team members constantly cleaning everything

    61. Toni Fox

I loved that they asked you to go check it out and rep the YT Disney community! Definitely a different vibe, but appreciate everything they are doing to maintain some safety.

    62. William Pimentel

Wow, to much of a hassle, i will not be going anytime soon then, perhaps next year

    63. BigDog 4445

      This is such a overreacting

    64. Chris Frantz

The masks being worn outside is ridiculous. Inside buildings, while shopping I can understand. Thanks for the update...

    65. Gina Garcia

Hi. I am Jw if they shared any information on how they will control bathroom use. How will they control social distancing with stalls being close and washing hands in the bathroom?

    66. Eddy ramirez

how can anyone "go before it opened"? do you work there? its the only explanation. otherwise it would be closed.

    67. ry

I think it would be to depressing to go. no rides or anything fun to do. just eat and shop.

    68. xucfknightx

Have you seen if neck gaiters (the “buffs” as seen on the TV show survivor) are acceptable or not? Disney springs says the face mask must be tied or have ear loops. A Neck gaiter has neither but is very secure and is what I normally would wear when out to the beach or boating all day to stay safe from the sun.

    69. MegaloBlazemon

These procedures.... honestly, seem like a total mess. Like, I get they are doing the best they can, but this doesn't look fun at all. No situation where you constantly have to be worried or making sure you're tracking distance and not getting enough oxygen and constantly being reminded we are living through a hellish time when you look at anyone in the face with a mask, like... No, these theme parks don't seem fun, they have this cloud of dread and fear over them. Also, the park is taking measures as if this thing is spread like a flu, it spreads through the air, it's literally us fighting the wind, and it's super contagious. Like when you got 1 person infecting 95 people in a public place, and another infecting like 115 people in another social situation where they were practicing social distancing, like... this virus spreads like WILDFIRE, and guests aren't all going to follow the rules, it's just not 100% enforceable. But I guess this is what we get in this New America we find ourselves living in, Wealth over Health.

    70. sehhi vooty

i am personally just waiting until everything gets back to normal before i go

    71. gwillakerz

So disney pays you to tell your fans how awesome and ready they are? lol im good

    72. JT Sylvera

Was planning on going to Disney soon but not if masks are required all the time like that which I find idiotic outdoors to restrict people’s oxygen flow like that. Not even worth going.

    73. Cesar Beltran

I think this is our new normal, and it may take some time to get used to, but we will get used to it and through it. Honestly it might be weird for us once we DONT have to do this stuff lol

      1. Cesar Beltran

Also it doesn’t seem to bad to me! More technology and more space lol

    74. random ryno

      Damn I miss the mustache

    75. Samantha Varela

dude, why would you go to Disney Springs. Sure they reopened but still, we haven't found a vaccine Your honestly lucky you didn't get the virus, I mean imagine if you got it, think about the trouble you and your family would go through

    76. christina mori

      Beautiful eyes.

    77. TigersWanted

I would say just stay home and watch Tim's videos!! Don't risk your health for fun!

    78. Christopher Niceley

A bunch of bs, go ahead sheep the Democrats want you muffled 👍 My body, my choice, no mask 👍

    79. Lynn Ludaway

I love how you said you definitely weren't going and then Disney said, ohhhhh YES you are. That's pretty cool they opened up for the bloggers.

    80. Laura Lovaglio

I sincerely hope people follow the rules! COVID is everywhere here in New York. Some people listen, some people don’t. Things will get worse if you don’t follow the rules!! Tim thanks for the update! Hoping you stay safe and you are well!
